Click on on graph for bigger picture.
The primary graph exhibits the roles added monthly since January 2021.
Payrolls for June and July have been revised down 86 thousand, mixed.
The second graph exhibits the year-over-year change in complete non-farm employment since 1968.
In August, the year-over-year change was 2.36 million jobs. Employment was up solidly year-over-year (Though the annual benchmark revision will decrease the year-over-year change).
The third graph exhibits the employment inhabitants ratio and the participation price.
The Labor Power Participation Charge was unchanged at 62.7% in August, from 62.7% in July. That is the proportion of the working age inhabitants within the labor power.
The Employment-Inhabitants ratio was unchanged at 60.0% from 60.0% in July (blue line).
I will submit the 25 to 54 age group employment-population ratio graph later.
The fourth graph exhibits the unemployment price.
The unemployment price decreased to 4.2% in August from 4.3% in July.
This was under consensus expectations, and June and July payrolls have been revised down by 82,000 mixed. Â
I will have extra later …
